Availability Line Codes

Availability Line Codes are used to set up the number of times throughout the day that a user may check available units in the fleet. It also sets the earliest time that the confirmation counts can be made for that line.

These codes are used on the Availability Requirements frame. At least one line needs to be defined in order to use the Unit Availability Module.

Create

To create a new code, enter a Line Code in the Line field. This field has a limit of ten characters. The Confirm Time is not required, but if entered, it will be the earliest time that confirmation counts can be entered.

Next, enter the Line Time. This will be the peak time to check availability to see the number of units available. The Line Time cannot be less than the Confirmation Time.

Note: Time must be entered in the 24 hour format (8:00 for 8AM, 17:00 for 5PM).

Enter a description in the Description field to describe the Line Code. This field has a limit of 30 characters.

After the entry is complete, select the SAVE button at the top of the frame. The Line Code will now be available for use in the Unit Availability Module.

Delete

You can delete a code provided it is not in use on any other tables in the system. If the code is in use, you will not be able to delete it from the system.

To delete a code that is not in use, select the row of the code you want to delete to make it active. Select the DELETE button (Red X) at the top of the frame. The selected row will turn red. Select SAVE to delete the Line Code from the system.

See the Unit Availability User Guide for detailed information.
