Lease Layouts are user defined codes used to further describe Lease Types which can be assigned to units on the Unit Accounting Frame. This frame allows you to create new Lease Layouts and maintain existing ones.
Create
To create a new Lease Layout, click in the blank Layout Type field and type in the new code. This field has a limit of ten characters.
Next, enter a Description to further define the Lease Layout. Once completed, click the Save Button at the top of the frame.
Modify
You can only modify the Description of existing codes. The Layout Type cannot be changed once a code has been created.
Disable
To disable a Lease Layout, check the Disabled box in the row of the Layout Type code you want to disable. Click Save. The code will no longer be available for use on the Lease Types frame.
Delete
You can delete a Lease Layout provided it is not in use anywhere else in the system. Otherwise your only option would be to disable the code so that it cannot be used.
To delete a Lease Layout, click in the row of the code you want to delete to make it active. Click the Delete Button (Red X) at the top of the frame, then click Save. The record will be removed from the list and the Lease Layout will no longer exist in the system.
