This screen shows the parts that are needed at a given location for a specific date. The date is selected from the calendar of the current month for the Location entered. It becomes the Qty Needed on date. The quantities shown in the various columns are derived from various sources in the system. Each row is summarized by part number.
Part number - parts on outstanding work requests
Quantity Avail - quantity of parts on hand for the inventory location associated to the work request location
In-Transit Avail - parts that are being transferred from other locations where the transfer has a status of "in-transit". The link here will open the Part Transfer Request screen to allow you to create a new or see existing transfer requests if necessary.
On-Order Avail - parts on purchase orders that have not been received and that are not reserved. The link here will open the Purchase Order screen to allow you to create a new purchase order if necessary to order more parts.
Lead Time - the difference between the date available and the date needed.
Qty Needed on the date - total quantity of the part needed on that date, the due date on the work request.
Qty Needed before the date (<) - total qty of that part needed for any outstanding work request due on or before the date.
Qty Needed after the date (>) - total qty of that part needed for any outstanding work request due on or before the date.
