The Unit Inventory Journal Query frame displays Unit Inventory History entered on the Unit Asset Inventory Entry frame.
There are a variety of options for filtering the data that will display on the Inventory Query i-frame. You can filter by Unit number, Parking Location, Maint Location, Using Dept, Owning Dept, Employee# of the employee who ran an inventory, the Bin No, and Unit Condition (0 through 9).
You can also select a custom date range in the Inventory Dates section to expand or narrow down your query results.
Note: The Source section is important as this will determine where the query will pull the inventory data from.
If you select the Unit Main radio button, the query will only pull the Last Physical Inventory and Bin information that is currently displayed for that unit on Unit Main.
The Asset Inventory History radio button will display all physical inventory unit data that falls within the selection criteria.
After you have your Selection Criteria, Inventory Dates, and Source set, select the Retrieve button to display the query results.
The Unit Main and Asset Inventory History radio buttons in the Source section will display the same type of data in each record with one key difference.
When you select the Unit Main radio button, each record will display the Last Transaction Date information from Unit Main in addition to the Last Physical Inventory and Bin Information. The Asset Inventory History will only display the Last Physical Inventory and Bin Information.
The Last Transaction Date information includes the last Meter Date, Last [Work Order] Open Date, and Last [Fuel] Issue Date.
