Shop Planning Calendar

Shop Planning is a method used to calculate available, planned and unplanned hours to perform tasks. Shop Planning is based on employee shifts vs. jobs with estimated labor hours that exist on open work orders and work requests. Shop Planning shows time planned/unplanned from now into the future only, it never goes into the past.

 

The Shop Planning Calendar is the window to the shop planning information shown on the right. Days where more planned work is scheduled than planned hours available will be red. Days where scheduled work is less than planned hours will be green. The hours are linked to another page showing graphs. Each graph can be clicked to see the detailed data such as plan resource information, plan schedule information, shop planning adjustment and parts availability for the scheduled jobs. Parts Schedule Information shows the details of parts availability.
