Claim Denied Codes

The Claim Denied Codes frame allows you to create and maintain a list of codes to identify and explain the reason a specific claim was denied on the Warranty Claim Manager frame.

Create

To create a new Claim Denied Code, enter a new value in the blank 'Reason Code' field. This field has a limit of four characters. Then, enter a description for a new code. The Description field has a limit of 30 characters.

Edit

You can edit the description for the code by clicking in the Description field and entering a new description over the existing one. After entering the new description, click the Save button to update the record.

Disable

To disable a code, click in the 'Disabled' check box in the row of the Claim Denied Code you want to disable. Click the Save button to disable the code.

Delete

You can delete a Claim Denied Code provided it is not in use anywhere else in the system. To delete a code that is not in use, click in the row of the code you want to delete to make it active and click the Delete button (Red X) at the top of the frame. The selected row will turn red. Click the Save button to permanently delete the record.
