Telematic Fault Query

The Telematic Fault Query frame allows users to query the fault codes for a unit or protocol in a variety of methods:

 

How to:

Create a Telematic Fault Query

 

  1. Enter a Unit number or Protocol or select from the List of Values (LOV).
  2. Enter a From Date and a To Date.
  3. Optional. You can select or enter additional Selection Criteria, as applicable.
  4. Select Retrieve. The results display in the Unit Fault List i-frame.

Each record that matches your selection criteria displays the following fields:

 

Element Link - Opens the Telematic Fault Preferred Job frame.

 

Insight ID link - Opens the Insight Notes window that displays Insight Cause and Insight Complaint fields. The Note Text and Change Information also displays.
Note: No Cause Notes Provided or No Complaint Notes Provided display when the Insight does not have Cause or Complaint notes.

 

Insight Priority - Indicates the Insight Priority:

 

Work Request - The Work Request Main frame opens when you double-click in a Work Request field. This allows you to link an existing work request to a fault code or create a new work request for the fault code.

 

Detail - Select the Detail button to display the current Latitude, Longitude, Last Date, Last Meter, and Source fault data. The Source field displays from Work Request Main.

 

The fault may be reported more than once but a record is not created for each instance. The initial fault date is displayed and the information is updated in the Detail column.
