The Availability Status Codes frame allows you to create and maintain a set of codes that indicate a unit’s current availability. The 3-character Status Code includes an Availability Disposition Code and is a critical component of the Unit Availability Module.
Create
To create an Availability Status Code, click in the blank Status field and enter a new code. The code must be three characters long.
Next enter an Availability Disposition Code in the Disposition Code field. The Description field has a limit of 30 characters. The Wait for Mate Flag is used for units that are grouped together as a married pair using the Unit Group frame.
Once the entry is complete, click the Save button at the top of the frame. The new code will now be available for use on the Availability Unit Status frame.
Modify
To modify an existing code, make any necessary changes to the Disposition Code, Description field, or the Wait for Mate Flag and then click the Save button to update the record.
Disable
To disable an Availability Status Code, check the Disabled box in the row of the code you want to delete. Then click the Save button to disable the code.
Delete
You can delete a code provided it is not in use on any other tables in the system. If the code is in use, you will not be able to delete it from the list.
To delete a code that is not in use, click in the row of the code you want to delete to make it active. Click the Delete button (Red X) at the top of the frame. The selected row will turn red. Click the Save button to delete the Availability Status Code from the system.
