The Unit Assignment History frame allows you to view and modify Using Department and Owning Department assignments as well has the Unit Operator Assignment which is a part of the Using Department record.
To display assignment history, enter a valid unit number from Unit Main in the Unit Information section or double-click in the field to select one from the List of Values.
The Unit Description and Status fields will populate automatically. The using and owning department assignment history will display on the Using Department and Owning Department i-frames.
The Using Department list will display the Department, Description, Effective Date, Assignment Type, Assignment Code, and Operator No for each record.
To add a new assignment, enter a new department number in the blank Department field and enter a new Effective Date. You will be prompted to make a new operator assignment, select Yes to confirm or No to decline and keep the same operator assignment data.
To add or modify an Operator Assignment, select O button in the Oper Assign column.
You will be redirected to the Unit Operator Assignment frame. You can add or change the Operator, Assign Type, Assign Code. If System Flag 2081 is set to Y, you will be required to enter an Assign Type. If System Flag 2082 is set to Y, you will also be required to enter an Assign Code.
After you have entered the operator information, select the X button at the top right corner of the frame to save and update the record. You will then be returned to the Unit Assignment History frame.
To delete an assignment, select the row of the Department assignment you want to delete to make it active. Select the DELETE button at the top of the frame. The selected row will turn red. Select SAVE to delete to assignment.
The Owning Department list will display the Department, Description, and Effective Date. To add a new assignment, enter a new department number in the blank Department field and enter a new Effective Date.
To delete an assignment, select Department assignment row you want to delete to make it active. Select the DELETE button at the top of the frame. The selected row will turn red. Select SAVE to delete to assignment.
2081 – Assignment Type Required on Unit Operator Assignments? (Y/N) – If this flag is set to ‘Y’, the user must enter a valid Assignment Type on Unit Operator Assignments.
2082 – Assignment Code Required on Unit Operator Assignments? (Y/N) – If this flag is set to ‘Y’, then the user must enter a valid Assignment Code on Unit Operator Assignments.
